Job description:

The 2nd Level SAP Support Specialist will provide support for one of our Clients for approx. 20 SAP applications:
  • Respond to and resolve incidents related to the SAP applications
  • Identify and address problems with the SAP applications
  • Fulfill requests related to the SAP applications
  • Implement changes to the SAP applications as needed
  • Assist with stabilization measures to improve the overall performance and reliability of the SAP applications
  • Use tools such as SAP PI, IT Service Manager, and MS Office to perform daily tasks and resolve issues
  • Communicate with end-users to gather information and provide updates on issue resolution
  • Collaborate with other members of the support team and IT department to resolve complex issues and implement solutions
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate records in a ticketing system or similar tool
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the SAP applications and take proactive steps to prevent issues from arising
  • Provide assistance of various (stabilisation) measures
  • Tools that are used daily are: SAP PI, IT Service Manager, MS Office Tools
 
Requirements
  • German excellent level – oral and written as well as a fluency in English
  • Secondary education
  • ITILv3/4 Foundation certification ( Would be a plus) In case of not having the certification: willingness to get the certification in the first months of employment
  • Proven experience in technical support projects
  • Additional technical requirements: (not mandatory but desirable)
  • Basic knowledge in the following areas SAP-PI (Preject Integration):
    • SAP ChaRM (Transport Industry)
    • SQL Statements
    • PowerShell / Linux / Windows Server
