Our client is a game provider within the iGaming industry located in Malta and is looking for a hands-on Enterprise Architect to join their growing team. Responsibilities:
- Identifying the organization’s needs in terms of platform and infrastructure and assessing future projects and initiatives based on cost benefit analysis and research
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from architecting to development, testing, and review
- Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure by respective teams
- Continuously assess and improve existing systems to avoid accruing technical debt
- Breaking down large scale projects into manageable chunks
- Engage the team to understand problems and lead the team towards solutions by implementing proof of concepts to solve them
- Communicating architecture, proof of concepts and implementations to developers and stakeholders
- Monitor system performance to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
- Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
- Provide training and support to internal teams
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of enterprise system and best practices
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (ECS / ECR / EC2 / RDS)
- Experience with HTTP, Caching and RESTful API design
- Experience with Golang
- Experience with MySQL (ideally Aurora)
- Experience with GIT/Bitbucket
- Experience with build pipelines / CI / CD
- Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with Docker
- Knowledge of Terraform
- Knowledge of NodeJS is a plus
- Knowledge of combinatorics and statistical analysis is a plus
Good to have:
- Experience with developing Microservices
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with AWS solutions (ECS, Cloudwatch, Lambda etc.)
