PORTUGUESE SPEAKING COMPLIANCE MANAGER - PORTO
Our client is looking for a Portuguese speaking Compliance Manager to joint their growing Team in Porto! This is a position that needs an experience person liaising with Portugal and Malta Gaming Authority’s licensing objectives and be a point of contact for matters relating to regulatory obligations, especially with MGA.

Our client is looking for a Portuguese speaking Compliance Manager to joint their growing Team in Porto! This is a position that needs an experience person liaising with Portugal and Malta Gaming Authority’s licensing objectives and be a point of contact for matters relating to regulatory obligations, especially with MGA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the compliance to ensure that all AML obligations are being adhered by the Company
- Advise on a regular basis of the impact of regulations and required actions
- Verify cross-jurisdictional regulatory requirements relating to key aspects of the business
- Project-lead, as required, and manage regulatory audits/ compliance reviews;
- Support business operations by providing informed advice and support relating to our markets
- Review relevant policies and procedures to make sure we remain compliant with relevant regulations
- Keep up to date with remote gaming regulations in order to provide support to the Team
- Carry out internal and external reviews of the adequacy of policies and procedures and their implementation, and the drawing up of reports and remediation plans
- Assist and perform regulatory market analysis and provide support in new market projects/ markets
- Proactively monitor and review regulatory measures
- Provide internal support to the Team with regards to Compliance aspects, whenever is needed.
- Portuguese language and cultural knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written English and communication skills
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Mandatory experience in day-to-day regulatory compliance tasks and reporting requirements especially with MGA
- Experience working in a compliance role within the online gaming industry (preferable)
- Strong knowledge of AML procedures
- Ability to meet strict deadlines, to work proactively and bring your initiatives
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure in a fast and dynamic environment
- High organization and analytical skills
