Job Details:
JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
 
Responsibilities:
  • Processing of non-technical and technical information in accounting system;
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts on a monthly basis;
  • Assisting in the preparation of regulatory  returns before submission;
  • Liaising with other internal departments and responding to ad-hoc queries
 
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant from University (ideally graduates from 2013 to 2015)
  • Ideally, at least 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proactive, flexible and be able to work on an independent basis
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Preference would be given to candidates that speak Maltese and / or Spanish would be considered an asset.
