Job Details:
My client operates in the online card payment services industry. Due to recent rapid growth in the Maltese office they are now seeking an Acquiring officer to join the team. The selected candidate will join the team in the Operations Department.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Running the acquiring platform and ensuring the continuity of processing.
  • Merchant account handling.
  • Reconciliation of merchant transaction submissions and settlements.
  • Reconciliation of Card Scheme outgoing and incoming files.
  • Resolution of customer issues and complaints.
  • Continuously striving to improve the current operational processes.
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
 
The ideal candidate should preferably:
  • Possess a Degree/Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in IT/Computing and/or Business/Management.
  • Have at least one year work experience in a similar position, preferably in the Card Payment Industry or iGaming.
  • Possess advanced MS Excel skills including Excel scripting.
  • Be highly organized, pro-active self starter, able to work on own initiative and eager to learn.
  • Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Be a team player and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Possess a high proficiency in oral and written English
 
The nature of the job may require the jobholder to take a work-to-finish approach and work extended hours when and if necessary.
