Job Details:
The Writer will be responsible for: · Dealing with the day-to-day generic Administrative duties - telephone as well as via email · Provide text for promotional material · Updating content on the company’s webpages due to Search Engine Optimisation · Produce content for the in-house magazine · Content creation for the various blogs and websites for the Group which may include but are not limited to: - Market news entailing market movements, important economic events as well as additional current events that should appeal to the clients - Personal finance as well as technology that would be appealing to the clients further allowing to generate web traffic - Careers and jobs ensuring the use of keywords in order to attract recruits - International property market news, more so specifically in the market where Property International is listed · Utilising Search Engine Optimisation at all times when generating content ensuring text adhere to keyword specifications · Ensure that sufficient content is generated online to create a steady flow of web traffic to the company’s webpages · Train any new recruits should the need arise · The support of other colleagues’ within the department as and when required · Handle and manage any ad-hoc projects that may crop up as and when requested by the management These duties and responsibilities may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the Employer, subject to formal notification being provided to the Employee. Distinguishing Features/Critical Competencies · Be creative in nature and not be afraid from thinking outside the box · Original and resourceful individual · Confident, detail oriented and precise in nature · Knack for writing with the flexibility to adapt to any particular tone as and when requested · An affinity for researching online · Be efficient, organized and diligent · Attention to detail · Time management skills · Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team · Excellent communication skills and command of the English Language Required/Desirable Qualifications/Experience · Exposure and/or experience with the Finance industry considered an asset · Sound knowledge of MS Office applications · Previous experience in journalism and/or writing web content would be considered an asset Education · Minimum graduate level of education. Preferably degree would either be in Communications and/or Marketing.
