JOB DESCRIPTION FOR
DRIVER
                                
Primary Purpose:            
To check, load and deliver equipment and tools in a safe, efficient and prompt manner.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide variety of items as required to different addresses by following different routes and time schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the assigned service delivery vehicle in a good working order
  • Ask for feedback on provided services and aid in the resolution of clients’ complaints
  • Collect payments upon delivery of material
  • Brief clients about any new products and services on offer
  • Process and complete logs and reports as required
  • Any other duties as may be necessary from time to time
 
Attributes
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates confidence in his abilities and be hands on

Requirements
  • Excellent written and oral proficiency in both English and Maltese
  • Possession of a valid driving licence Category C
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience as a delivery driver
  • Ability to operate forklifts
  • Physical aptitude for manual handling of heavy objects
