DIRECTOR OF E-COMMERCE / E-COMMERCE LEAD
 
Position Summary:
 
This is a senior and high-profile role within the companie’s newly created Digital Learning Division. The Digital Learning Division is a new entrepreneurial division within the company set up with the ambition of developing and monetising new instructional delivery products that leverage the impact of digital technology within the English Language Teaching industry.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage all aspects of the Digital Learning eCommerce channel including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
  • Own and drive the online sales target for the Digital Learning division
  • Attract new and existing visitors to the website via all customer acquisition methodologies including but not limited to SEO, PPC, e-mail, affiliates, display, retargeting etc
  • Act as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce initiatives
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional teams supporting the eCommerce strategy
  • Manage the user experience on the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the website and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing
  • Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Manage E-commerce related spend through clear ROI justifications. 
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field;
  • At least 10-15 years of experience withinB2B and B2C e-Commerce space
  • Commercially astute with a proven track record of growing online sales in a large multi-channel organization
  • Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact initiatives
  • An up-to-date understanding of ecommerce trends and the latest online sales tactics/best practices
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
