Job Details:
My client works within the Financial Sector and is now looking for a Financial Controller to join their ever expanding team, as the Financial Controller you will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Operator (CFO). Day to day activities:
 
  • Supervision of the preparation of monthly management information
  • Preparation of annual standalone/consolidated financial statements in accordance with the IFRS, quarterly VAT returns, withholding and corporate tax computations and monthly /quarterly MFSA supervision filings
  • Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems
  • Formulating business strategies and contributing to medium and long term planning, including new market filtration
  • Implementing, evaluating and monitoring internal controls
  • Advising on the financial implications of business decisions
Requirements:
 
  • You will have at least 5 years experience within the financial sector
  • Be a fully qualified Accountant
  • Have the drive and passion to work within an international organisation
  • Be self motivated
  • Have the ability to handle different currencies
  • Have excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
