ASP.NET Developer and Designer
Our client is a multi award winning market leader in internet broadcast convergence and due to a recent sustained period of growth we now require a skilled ASP.NET web developer and designer with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our expanding team in Malta. This is an exciting role that provides the opportunity to join a leading digital media company at a great time of success, expansion and continued profitability. In the role the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and creation ASP.NET websites that integrate with our core service offerings including webcasting and video delivery. In order to demonstrate your skills as a competent Web Designer and Developer you should a portfolio of past projects to showcase your abilities. The successful candidate will be expected to have the ability to work on small to medium size projects and be professional enough to manage their own projects as and when required. Responsibilities: Design – work from an initial sales brief and then to work with the client and any associated brand guidelines to produce working sitemaps, wireframes, and Photoshop designs which you will then be responsible for translating into working websites . Development –development using ASP.NET (web forms or MVC, preferably C#), HTML, CSS & JQuery that is well structured, efficient, stable and secure, using best practices which allows other developers to quickly understand and follow. Collaboration - work closely with project managers, sales representatives and external clients to ensure work is delivered to specification and within agreed deadlines. Essential Skills and Requirements: · Good knowledge of Photoshop · Experience in communicating with clients throughout the design and delivery phase · Proven commercial experience using ASP.NET (preferably c#), HTML, CSS and JavaScript/JQuery · Understanding of W3C standards · Working experience of JavaScript libraries, e.g JQuery · Hand-coding and debugging of HTML, CSS and JavaScript · Usage of version control systems, e.g Subversion Desirable Skills: · Exposure to emerging technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 · Exposure to video streaming technologies or Flash · Experience of working within a media agency environment If you are interested or know of someone that could be, kindly forward your CV in a word format to Krista Psaila on [email protected] or call on +356 27 204 518 for further information. |
