JAVA DEVELOPER
 
Reports to: Technical Architect / Team Lead
 
Overall responsibility
To have the ability and discipline to develop a project and make educated design decisions.  To be able to work independently and make schedule decisions according to tasks assigned by the product manager.
 
Detailed Description
 
Our client is looking for a Java Developer to join their development team.  The selected candidate will play a key role in the design and development of online financial products for world-leading brands. 
 
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of professional experience
  • A very good understanding of JEE
  • Experience in database design and MySQL a plus
  • The capability of making educated design decisions
  • Ability to work independently - accountable for your own actions and able to act with both urgency and integrity
  • Not required but experience in any of the following is considered to be an asset: continuous integration, jQuery, Spring and GIT.
