Junior Health Claims Handler

Responsibilities:

Assessment, analysis and processing of health insurance claims
Communication with external and internal customers and medical services providers
Involvement and assistance in the generation and issuing of technical reports
Other duties as may be assigned to support the work of the Health Claims Unit within the Claims Department

Requirements:

Be assertive, innovative with good interpersonal skills
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Maltese and be IT proficient
Be able to work on own initiative with multi-tasking capabilities
Good communication skills in Maltese and English, Spanish would be considered an asset
Preference will be given to applicants who have at least two to three years’ experience in a similar position within an insurance company, agency or broker. Good progress towards achieving insurance qualifications and knowledge of medical terms and/or a medical background will be considered an asset.
