MANAGER – LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT & MATERIAL HANDLING Our client is a leading developer of custom-engineered and application-specific products and solutions utilizing the latest technologies. The manufacturing campuses in the Americas, Europe, and Asia allow our client to bring a total business solution to customers worldwide. The chosen candidate will have the responsibility for the smooth and effective organisation, storage, distribution and handling of goods. The person will plan and manage the movement of goods in the supply chain, liaising with many Departments, including suppliers. The role involves transportation, stock control, warehousing and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods. This position is also tasked with developing and implementing process improvements in all of the internal areas the logistics manager is responsible for. He/she may also be responsible for managing the department budget, making capital purchases, and hiring, training and disciplining employees. Applicant will also report to the upper management team about the successes and failures of the department. REQUIREMENTS
