Job Details:
MOBILE SPECIALIST
 
Reporting to: Marketing Manager - Mobile, Commercial Team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • To fully contribute as a member of the Mobile Segment Team ensuring that it achieves its business objectives
  • To actively define and develop customer propositions or product strategies to enable the company to win in the market and achieve its revenue and market share objectives
  • To achieve agreed product/customer segment growth targets
  • To ensure that the Mobile and 3P services are joined up and serve company’s corporate strategy
  • To work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful launch of agreed initiatives and projects
 
Market Analysis
  • To identify market need in order to drive strategy
  • To continually seek inputs and feedback from company’s frontline staff on product improvements and possible new offerings
  • To understand the competitive landscape and company’s positioning.
  • To identify key competitors and their offering
  • Perform ongoing competitive benchmarking and propose timely reaction to new competitor launches to ensure competitiveness at all times
  • To provide recommendations based on the analysis on the way forward
 
Product Management
  • Measure and feedback Mobile products results in terms of ROI and customer takeup monthly against pre-agreed KPIs and targets
  • Work with other team members and key stakeholders to find innovative and new products and execution
  • To take products through the company’s Product Development process to ensure they deliver an excellent Customer Experience
  • To actively participate, take inputs and provide direction in the company’s requirements definition process for developing new technical capabilities and reporting back to Commercial Management on any issues or workaround solutions as may be necessary
  • To define clear product adoption processes for the successful takeup of key offerings
  • To define, plan and drive CRM activities for increasing customer takeup across all sales and communications channels
  • To ensure that the Sales function can sell these products effectively by making sure that collateral is available and that Sales & Customer Experience people have had access to adequate training
 
Requirements:
 
  • Have a graduate qualification in in any related commercial/finance degree
  • Be a dynamic, result-oriented individual with a can-do attitude
  • Can work under pressure
  • Intelligent with commercial acumen and capable of in-depth numerical analysis
  • Be a good communicator and good interpersonal skills
  • Be a good team player
  • Be a confident presenter in sales and customer forums
  • Ideally have a telecoms or ICT background
  • Be familiar with Product Development lifecycles
