Job Details:
 
Reporting to the QA Manager / QP, the selected the candidate will be responsible for assisting the company   in  the  maintenance,  upkeep  and  development  of  the  various  pillars  of  the  Quality Management System by actively participating in the continuous improvement process while ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements.
 
The Post:
 
Following a program of induction training, within the structure of the company, the candidate will be expected to:
 
  • coordinate the job functions of the department so as to attain the most effective and efficient deployment of human, equipment and material resources within a given budget.
 
  • Ensuring compliance and adherence to group and company policies and procedures, quality standards, EH & S regulations as well as the relevant US, EU and international (as applicable) GMP requirements for pharmaceuticals for human use.
 
  • To  support  the  Company  QP  on  the  company’s  license  for  the  release  of pharmaceutical products into the market.


  • To actively participate in continuous improvement and TQM projects assigned by the QA Manager and the Plant Manager
 
 
 
The ideal candidate should:
 
  • Have a University Degree in Pharmacy, Biology or Chemistry.
  • Although full training will be provided, the chosen candidate must have a minimum of 4 years experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment, in Quality Assurance, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working in an FDA regulatory environment will be considered as an asset. Have excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Be able to work on own initiative and under pressure in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to understand and achieve strategy and policy implementation.
  • Be able to work in a team while cooperating with other departments in achieving the goals set upon itself by the company.
  • Preferably with a QP status or in the process of obtaining it.
