JOB DESCRIPTION FOR
SALES EXECUTIVE
               
Primary Purpose:        
To sell the company's products and services to customers including individuals, businesses and government organizations both domestic and international by approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business whilst maintaining good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible
 
Duties of the Employee
The duties of the Sales Executive shall include, but not be limited to, the duties listed below as well as any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Company by a simple notice in writing, in line with the job description.
 
  • Reaching set targets, KPI’s and KRA’s by doing the up most to convince customers and close sales.
  • Cross Selling of all the company’s products by understanding the customer’s needs and suggest a better product.
  • Up-Selling of all quotations by mentioning more products that might interest the customer.
  • Working on tenders as guided by senior management
  • Maintaining excellent Customer Care and Relationship Management by following up quotes and calls customer when all works are done to confirm that customer is satisfied with our system.
  • Handling of Complaints by understanding the problem and assist the customer in the best way possible to solve it.
  • Obtain feedback from Clients by doing follow-ups.
  • Market Research by taking the initiative to learn more on new equipment's and suggest other departments to purchase and test new models.
  • Business Development by meeting contractors and increase business contacts.
  • Cold Calling Activity
  • Obtain competitor and market info by asking for quotes and compare our material and rates with the competitor’s to have better tools for selling.
  • Performing Product Presentations to meet client’s expectations by creating quotes and
  • prepare the necessary literature to be easier for the customer to understand.
  • Being Proactive. Taking your own initiative in sales opportunities.
  • Promoting Extra Selling with the company departments.
  • Abiding by Company’s Behavioral standards and Values.
  • Abiding by Company Standards and Procedures.
  • Updating company software with needed info by asking the customer necessary information and fill it up in the company’s software.
  • Regularly chase quotations and clients and do regular follow ups by calling customers and keep a good relationship with all customers.
  • Give full and detailed handover to projects team by double check the quotes, prepare all necessary drawings and write down the estimated installation time.
  • Implementation of sales plan and sales initiatives
 
Requirements:
  • Results oriented individuals with entrepreneurial drive;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Negotiation and problem solving skills;
  • Valid driving license.
  • Fluent in Maltese language
