Job Description:

Deploying, managing, maintaining, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, migrating, recovering and virtualising Windows Servers 2008 R2;

A thorough understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RRAS, VPN (L2Tp, PPTP, etc..), DFS, Cluster Services, Active Directory, RAID (Hardware) configurations, Terminal Services, SSL, Bitlocker and other encryption technology, Firewall concepts, RMS, File/Folder DACLs, etc…

Working with and knowledge of DELL/HP Robotic tape libraries, file replication software, DELL/HP Blade servers, Windows Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi virtualization platforms, as well as experience configuring and maintaining 3000+ kVA UPS Systems.

Network monitoring and event log analysis;

Supporting CISCO administration and maintenance processes with verified experience and certifications in CCNA, CCNP as a minumim;

Backup software technology particularly Symantec;

Managing production and sandpit virtual servers using VMWare vCenter, VMWare vSphere and Windows based Hyper V remote management tools;

Proficiency in documentation as well as change management processes;

Helpdesk supervision and escalation troubleshooting.

Understanding of workflows, IT project management, change management, procedural documentation and formal processes.

All round applications support, maintenance, administration, and management inclusive of customized MS Office deployments, MS SQL servers, MS SQL Reporting and Analysis services, MS Exchange Admin, MS Infopath Forms administration, MS Sharepoint Workspaces, OCS/Lync services etc…

A minimum of 4 to 5 years work experience in a similar role.
