BUSINESS / SYSTEMS ANALYST
 
Overall responsibility
To manage a backlog related to one or more deliverables provide outline specifications explaining the deliverable contents and interface with a development team with the intention of getting the deliverable sub-tasks developed on time and to the required quality.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with a Product Manager to take a Product Deliverable and build a Product Backlog, identifying the individual tasks and providing product estimates
  • Prioritize and sequence the Backlog according to business requirements ready for task pickup during sprint planning sessions
  • Conveys the vision and goals at the beginning of every sprint
  • Represents and engages the customer, whether the customer is external and/or is the Product Manager
  • Participates in the daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Generates detailed outlines of the Backlog tasks to provide the necessary task details to the delivery team including acceptance criteria
  • Inspects the product progress at the end of every sprint, performs UATs (user acceptance testing) and has authority to accept or reject work done
  • Communicates the status of the deliverable externally reporting on quality and timeliness against estimated delivery times
 
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within payments industry
  • Great communication skills in English
