One of our clients is looking for a Client Accountant. The company is a corporate & fiduciary services provider specializing in managing corporate structures on behalf of multinational corporations through to high net worth individuals and their professional advisors and have a client type weighted towards a maritime and luxury asset proposition mainly commercial ships, super yachts and business jets and have offices in Malta and the Isle of Man. Responsibilities: • Responsible for a portfolio of clients • Maintaining proper accounting records of a portfolio of clients • Preparation of tax and other statutory records and returns • Preparation of client management accounts and other financial reports as required • Assist in the setting up of companies • Opening and managing clients bank accounts • Preparation of tax and other statutory records and returns • Assist in the setting up of tax efficient structures through the use of different corporate vehicles • Liaising with Registry of Companies, Banks, International Tax Unit and VAT Department Qualifications and Experience: • A degree in accounting or tax law related subjects • Excellent client service and communication skills • Commitment to excellence and a ‘can do’ approach • Previous experience working in a corporate services provider environment or a law firm • Previous experience working on tax related matters of foreign clients If you are interested or know of someone that could be, kindly forward your CV in a word format to Leona Cassar on [email protected] or call on +356 27 204 518 for further information. |
