Core Network Voice Engineer You will be part of the Core Networks team responsible for the correct installation, operation and maintenance of data and voice networking equipment within our client technical operations centre. This is a highly technical role where you will have a good say in the direction and development of the company’s network. Qualifications · Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in Telecommunications. · Have a minimum Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualification. Skills/Knowledge · Extensive knowledge of Internet & TCP/IP technologies. · Extensive knowledge of voice technologies; including SIP, GPRS, SS7 and UMTS. · Knowledge of various operating systems such as Windows, LINUX and UNIX. · Good communication skills and a dedicated team player. · Good organisational and supervisory skills. · Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision. · Good interpersonal skills. · Flexibility to work irregular hours when the need arises. · Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
