CREDIT RISK ANALYST In this role you will form part of the Risk Management Team Your duties will include: · To assist and analyze credit proposals including financial statements and facility structures depending on product type as to determine the degree of credit risk involved; · To assist and complete credit applications including credit analysis and recommendations to eventually submit for credit approval to the Credit Committee or delegated authority; · To process and review transactions submitted by Trade Finance for internal approval by Risk Management which are part of approved but uncommitted facilities; · To prepare facility letters and related documentation in line with approved facilities granted by the Credit Committee or delegated authority levels; · To update the Bank’s internal rating system as to generate qualitative and quantitative ratios as to evaluate customer’s financial status; · To keep abreast of and ensure compliance with the bank’s risk policies, guidelines, regulatory requirements and underlying procedures at all times; · To assist in the operations and initiatives of the risk management unit and promote the concept of risk management throughout the bank; · To suggest risk management systems and procedures to carry out associated activities and take appropriate action accordingly; · To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout; · To submit any reports as may be directed by your superiors or Head of Risk from time to time; · To attend training as requested by your superiors or Head of Risk; · To support all credit risk team members by assisting in the day to day running of the department unit Requirements: · Banking and Finance Degree · A minimum of 1-2 years experience Credit Risk · Have an excellent command of English · Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications If you are interested or know of someone that could be, kindly forward your CV in a word format to Krista Psaila on [email protected] or call on +356 27 204 518 for further information.
