Job Details:
Working within the busy Corporate Marketing Team, the Digital Graphic Designer will assist the Senior Art Director with the creation and maintenance of cutting edge websites and web-based materials to promote our company and our products and communicate with customers and partners.

Duties include:
  • Design and creation of new websites
  • Re-designing existing websites with new features
  • Responsive front-end website design and development (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript JQuery) for web, tablets and mobile
  • Design of web-based material such as website pages, blogs, landing pages, email marketing, social media graphics and website banners
  • Design and creation of digital publications
  • Design and creation of brand guides and templates for use by GFI design teams worldwide
  • Design and creation of info-graphics (static and animated)
  • Collaborate extensively with the design, copy/content, web development, IT and marketing automation teams.
  • Bring a keen understanding of website, social, banner, mobile, landing page and email technologies
·         Stay abreast of the latest thinking in website design and usability and lead from the front
 
Required:
  • 3+ years of digital design experience, preferably including web development /production
  • Breathtaking portfolio of recent digital work
  • Sound knowledge of typography for the web
  • Sound knowledge of web design best practices
  • Knowledge of Wordpress
  • Awareness of SEO and UX principles
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • A combination of design and technical skills
·         Planning, prototyping, storyboard and schematic skills
  • In-depth knowledge of current web markup or scripting languages: including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Ability to design within content management systems
  • Knowledge of A/B and split testing procedures and the ability to optimize designs based on data
Desirable:
  • Ability to take approved design concepts through to finished coded product
  • Sitecore template production knowledge
  • Design for video, video creation/editing
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Edge, Adobe Muse
Software experience requirements:
  • Adobe Creative Cloud/Master suite
  • Wordpress
  • Microsoft Office
