Job Summary:
 
·         Reporting directly to the CFO for the Group, and managing a Finance team in various geographical locations
·         Responsible for the supervision and production of monthly management information, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Inter Company Trading, Cash-flows, with variance analysis and commentaries
·         The preparation of annual standalone/consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS), quarterly VAT returns, withholding tax and corporate tax computations
·         Liaising with Auditors and professional services companies to ensure all statutory obligations are met.
·         Responsible for the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts with associated analysis
·         Assisting with departmental forecasting and budgeting, continual development of internal control processes and analysis.
·         Overviewing adherence to Budgets by departmental management and conducting reviews with Departmental Heads on progress monthly.
·         Provide rigorous financial control for the various companies within the group as well as its affiliates and/or subsidiaries
·         Evaluating and monitoring information systems and ensure best practices are developed and used.
·         Contribute to overall cost reviews and contract proposal negotiations
·         Help assessing new business strategies and potential expansion into new markets/geographical areas
·         Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
·         Assisting with the financial aspect of business development opportunities that arise
·         Develop a best in class Finance function which provides an excellent financial management infrastructure to the entire Group.
·         Assuming responsibility for your team in relation to the scheduling and monitoring of work schedules, evaluation of performance, training and motivation of employees.
·         Supervise and coordinate the work activities of the finance department to achieve the overall team’s objectives.
·         Develop the team with an aim to achieve their yearly development plans
·         Assisting on a day to day basis with any duties or ad hoc projects assigned.
·         Undertaking any other responsibilities assigned to you by the Chiefs and/or Board due to business requirements
 
Skills Required:
 
·         Experience in the industry or in an international company within the finance department
·         Able to manage multiple currencies
·         Have a good working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
·         ACCA/MIA qualified
·         A proven track record in achieving targets
·         Experience of leading and managing a diversified team
·         SAGE Line 50
·         Excellent Computer skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
·         Commitment to deadlines
·         Cost Conscious
