Job Details:
 HEAD OF OPERATIONS
A global payment service provider currently supporting over 5,000 online businesses in 180 countries in multiple languages, currencies, payment methods and devices through a comprehensive global buying platform is establishing EU operations, getting licensed by the MFSA, and is seeking to fulfill the position of Head of Operations.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and overseeing the Operations functions based locally that include Merchant Services, Chargebacks and Reconciliations
  • Taking a hands on approach as required
  • Making sure internal & external SLA’s are met
  • Constantly seek ways to streamline & improve process further with the aim to achieve more time effective and accurate results.
  • Regularly liaising with Operations team leads to ensure any issues are dealt with promptly and in an effective manner.
  • Escalate any complicated issues to the Vice President of Support and recommending ways for resolution.
  • Working alongside other management within the business to ensure that the operations team is operating within the company guidelines and parameters
  • Develop and maintain the operational processes and procedures
  • Managing the local acquiring platform access and processing continuity
  • Operational Business Strategy.
The ideal candidate should:
  • Minimum Degree qualified in I.T, Computing, Management or Finance.
  • Have minimum 2 years of previous industry experience, having previously worked for an international acquirer or issuer would be a distinct advantage.
  • Be highly motivated, have good leadership and team management skills.
  • Be meticulous, able to work on own initiative with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate and instil the team with a sense of task ownership so that all work is done efficiently, on time and to a good quality.
The nature of the job may require the jobholder to take a work-to-finish approach and work extended hours when and if necessary.
