HEAD OF WORLD WIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES Our client, a leading international software company that provides solutions in the Cloud Computing market, is looking to recruit a Head of World Wide Technical Support Services. The overall responsibility of the selected candidate will be to provide top level technical support services to both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for: · Managing and coordinating the world wide support team. · Gathering, filtering, and rejecting information from L1 supporters, isolating and resolving customer issues · Timely troubleshooting and responding to customer issues by meeting stated Service Level Agreements · Helping and consulting the sales teams in technical presales activities (eg. product presentations) · Assisting in documenting solutions adding value to blogs, forums and KB (Knowledge Base?) articles · Creating training material and delivering of same This position calls for a dynamic, creative, customer-oriented, and assertive person with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in a timely and organised manner and willing to learn new skills how to solve and simplify issues The ideal candidate will have: · 2+ years of professional experience in an IT customer services position · 3+ years IT administration experience with clear understanding of networking connectivity and protocols · Experience with Virtualization and a working knowledge of one or more virtual technologies (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V and Citrix Xen) · Practical experience including deploying and setting up Active Directory forests, CAs, trusts etc... · Strong hold of debugging group policies and an outlook to issues that may arise there from · Team ethics, credibility, commitment and Excellent verbal and written English communication skills · Excellent presentations skills to promote products to prospect clients and partners when the need arises · Keep up with latest technologies in direct relation to and around the field of work · Problem solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision · Ability to multi-task efficiently and work hard to resolve critical issues on short deadlines Interested applicants should send a CV to Chris on [email protected] |
