Job Details:
Our client is looking for individuals with a keen interest in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to join the IFRS technical team, reporting to the firm’s National Professional Practice Director. The main aspects of the role include: • Acting as a focal point for providing advice and guidance on IFRS technical matters and serving as a model of excellence; • Monitoring developments in IFRS in the context of the firm’s existing and potential client base; • Ensuring that the firm‘s IFRS technical training requirements are regularly identified and addressed through updates and training sessions. Applicants are expected to be qualified accountants with a disposition to technical excellence. An audit background would be considered an asset, but applications from newly qualified accountants would also be considered. The selected candidate will be expected to have above average reporting, organisational and presentation skills and be prepared to make a substantial contribution towards this important area of the firm’s practice.
