Duties:
You will be reporting to the Sys Admin Manager and have a significant role in maintaining and operating our IT systems, including:
· Development and management of OLA and SLA
· Coordinating operations and maintenance work of operational and analytical systems (including front ends, lending and collection back-ends system)
· Ensuring smooth operations of all the Group’s IT business systems
· Closely co-operating with the company’s application development team
Skills and work experience:You have suitable technical education and background. You have several (3+) years of experience from operating and maintaining IT systems preferably in banking grade environments using web technology (PHP, Java, mySQL, Linux). You have good communication skills and are previous software development experience is considered a benefit. You enjoy problem solving, and have a hands-on attitude towards your work. You enjoy continuously learning and improving your skills and you are flexible what comes to working hours. The detailed activities to be handled as part of this role are: · Linux, DB, PHP, Drupal, Java version control · Database administration: MySQL v5.5 o including trouble shouting with Linux based apps · Run time architecture o Batch/Cron job management (schedule and run) o System monitoring (apps and DBS) o HW, Networks and (physical) application integration · Managing PROD and UAT environments (incl data changes and deployments) Previous work experience in financial services industry, understanding of project management methodologies, experience from layered SOA architectures as well as JEE and PHP frameworks are all considered a benefit. You enjoy working as a member of the team in a fast-paced and innovative working environment. Your English language skills are fluent (both oral and written), and any other language skills are an asset.
