IT SYSTEMS & NETWORKING ADMINISTRATOR
 
 
Reporting to: CEO / Director of Finance
 
List of Duties:
 
·         Overseeing of network and servers
·         Ensuring data is backed up on a regular basis
·         Overseeing computer security and anti-virus updates etc..
·         Carrying out computer maintenance tasks
·         Manage the company servers and intranet by installing good security systems and protect the important information on them
·         Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
·         Providing IT support to computer users within the office and all company outlets
·         Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
·         Contribute to and maintain system standards
·         First point of call and initial troubleshooting of IT problems and resolving if possible
·         Liaising with external support company
·         Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
·         Keeping inventory of hardware and maintenance records
·         Ensuring all software is properly licensed
·         Providing input into IT strategy
·         Input into one-off projects such as database development
·         Logging all IT problems and resolutions
·         Create, change and delete user accounts as required
·         Installing and configuring new hardware and software
·         Input into IT acceptable use policy development
·         Keep abreast of IT technology, maintain library of information
 
Requirements for the role:
 
·         Candidate must have a valid and clean driving license.
·         Willingness to work on flexible hours and to be on call.
