JUNIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT MALTA Duties & Responsibilities: You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs, including: · Preparation of the fund valuation (Net Asset Value) and relevant book keeping. · Preparing statutory financial statements, investor reporting and regulatory reporting. · Performing middle office related duties. · Acting as the contact person between shareholders, investment managers, and prime brokers for resolution of any issues that may arise. · Assisting with the coordination of year-end audits. · Assisting with the system and fund implementation. Ideal Profile: · Currently in the process of acquiring an accounting qualification such as ACCA. · Good understanding of securities commonly used in the fund industry, including equities, bonds and derivative financial instruments. · Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word. · Knowledge of PFS Paxus Software would be considered an asset. · Sound knowledge of fund operations, valuation, accounting and securities settlement. · Previous experience in the fund industry would be considered an asset.
