Job Details:
Our client is seeking a smart, polite, well spoken and self motivated individual to join their growing team.
 
Key responsibilities include the following:
  • Providing a range of fiduciary and trust administration services
  • Managing the related workload to ensure that all client requests are handled within a suitable timeframe
  • Communicating effectively with clients and intermediaries
  • Keeping abreast of risks wherever necessary and following risk management processes and procedures
  • Participating in meetings as required
  • Administering a portfolio of trusts complying with policy, procedures and agreed service standards
  • Drafting documentation (deeds, resolutions etc)
  • Collating client due diligence
  • Collating documentation and maintaining accurate records

Requirements of the role are as follows:
  • Preferably some experience in trust administration
  • Detailed understanding of trust structures and related statutory requirements and local legislation
  • A completed industry recognised qualification, typically STEP
  • The ability to deliver excellent client service, face-to-face, over the phone and in written correspondence
  • Meticulous and consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills in Maltese and English
  • An understanding of anti-money laundering and other compliance legislation
  • Enthusiastic and focused; loyal and trustworthy
  • An ability to empathise with social cases
  • Any previous experience, of a professional or personal nature, or education regarding persons with disabilities will be considered an asset
