Our client is seeking to employ a Logistics Manager. Ideally applicants would have previous experience within Logistics/Warehousing.
 
Applicants must have the following qualities:
 
·         Minimum of 5 years in a management position with proven strong leadership skills
·         Excellent People Management
·         Able to Inspire and Motivate team
·         A strong commitment towards work, seeking to progress further his/her career
·         Logic skills, being able to interpret data and take sound logic decisions
·         Creative and Innovative
·         Strong IT Skills
·         Experience in Project Management
 
Job Function:
 
The Logistics Manager is responsible for all activities related to the Logistics functions which include storage and distribution of produced and imported goods.
 
The main areas of focus are:
 
The effective implementation of the Company’s Management Systems, Leading the Logistics Department personnel, Environment Health & Safety within the Logistics Department, Maintenance of Good Manufacturing Practices, stock control, resource planning, picking efficiency, picking accuracy, distribution efficiency, non-delivery minimisation and forward product traceability.
