MARKETING MANAGER

Main tasks:

Establish a go-to-market strategy for each brand, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products and/or services;

Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized;
-
Carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
-
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partner organisations, suppliers and the media, to improving existing products and services to address market needs;
-
Identify opportunities for business development and develop strategic partnerships to increase market share and profit growth;
-
Identify target audiences, and develop and implement strategies to communicate with them;
-
Develop promotional opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery and ensure that the achievement of marketing objectives are within designated budgets;
-
Develop and recommend pricing strategy for the organization which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run;

Prepare marketing plans and budgets and compile reports for the Board of Directors and Management Meetings as required;
-
Manage the production of marketing material including leaflets, posters, flyers and other e-material. This can involve writing and proofreading and liaising with designers and printers;

Arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
-
Organise and attend events and exhibitions locally and abroad as the company may direct;

To attend to other ancillary duties not mentioned above.
Qualifications/ Experience required:
-
A qualification in Marketing, Communications or related field coupled by a minimum of three years experience in a Marketing role;

A good grasp of both traditional and online marketing techniques, demonstrating an all rounder proficiency in developing campaigns that may attract diverse audiences;

Experience with setting budgets and developing campaigns that achieve a positive ROI;
-
A strategic disposition, able to plan and identify avenues for profit growth while at the same time being able to execute to a high degree of quality and efficiency;

Strong leadership skills, able to lead think tanks and be a point of reference within the business;
-
A strong analytical and research background, able to formulate and conduct market research and translate data into action plans;
-
A creative approach, able to generate new product ideas and develop new campaigns and business opportunities;
-
Excellent communication skills, able to speak and write fluent Maltese and English;
-
An eye for detail and an ability to check material before going to print/ uploaded online.
