Job Details:
NET DEVELOPER Responsibilities: · Delivering a variety of .Net based web based applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, knockout and WebApi’s ; in addition to maintaining some existing legacy systems developed using conventional web forms. · Develop production quality code and ensure work meets a high standard. · Work with Technical Leads and Project Managers to determine needs and applying existing technology to meet those needs or developing new solutions where required. · Maintain and support multiple projects and deadlines. · Record work progress on a daily basis ensuring team leaders and project managers are aware of progress. · Document code and solutions thoroughly and where appropriate share knowledge with others. Desired Skills and Experience: · Web development skills – you will have a strong applied background in .NET, you will also have experience encompassing other web technologies including SOA, Javascript, JQuery, Knockout or other similar MVVM frameworks. · Team worker - you will have a proven track record of working within a small development team · Good knowledge of current solutions - you will have your finger on the pulse and have experimented with other current development technologies in a commercial environment · An eye for detail – you will be able to anticipate issues and work to quickly resolve them prior to delivery · Self-starter – you will be able to prioritise your own tasks effectively and be experienced making the day to day decisions necessary to deliver projects successfully · Expertise with streaming technologies – such as Wowza, Flash Media Server, Flash or flex, CDNs; although not essential this would be beneficial.
