Job Details:
Our client is a leading, award-winning representative of global brands in Africa, Italy and Malta.  They have penetrated the North African market with some of the leading brands and some of them are currently undergoing extensive expansion by the Group. As a rapidly growing organisation, they are seeking to enhance their current team with the recruitment of an Operations Manager.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • The Operations Manager will be responsible for the Company’s representative office and its business interests in Libya through leading, developing and managing its operations in the country
  • Ensuring that standards and procedures set by the Group, brand managers, marketing, and finance are reflected throughout the Libya operations and implemented efficiently
  • Targets and deadlines are met by the Libya team
  • Setting up and maintaining systems to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain
  • Marketing and communication
  • Recruitment and training of the group’s personnel as required
 
Requirements:
 
  • The ideal candidate must be driven, energetic and ambitious, must demonstrate to be a good problem solver who seeks challenges and demonstrates good management, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Experience in fashion retail is essential
  • Knowledge of Arabic will be considered a valuable asset
