Job Details:
Our client is a leading, award-winning representative of global brands in Africa, Italy and Malta. As a rapidly growing organization, we are seeking to enhance our HR team with the recruitment of a Payroll Administrator.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Executing all payroll functions including creating and registering of employee records.
  • Provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
  • Co-ordinate with ETC and submitting any forms required such as engagement, termination forms and application for work permits and training.
  • Process and maintain up-to-date employee records by inputting new recruitments into the payroll system, handling changes in employee personal details, wage structure, commission as well as vacation and sick leave.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments.
  • Compile and post employee payroll data, compute employees’ time worked, overtime, bonuses and commissions, compute and post wages and deductions.
  • Review time sheets and wage computation and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Finalize wage calculations and co-ordinate with Finance department for issuing of bank transfers; prepare and issuing report on finalized wages for Finance.
  • Issuing and distribution of pay slips.
  • Assist the Human Resources department in any other area as requested.
  • Respect sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.
  • Prepare to submit statutory and other organizational returns/reports.
  • Create employee discounts and issuing of VIP cards.
  • Prepare monthly transfer and recharges report.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role with direct responsibility for Payroll
  • Be experienced in using Shireburn Payroll System
  • Be motivated and capable of working independently
  • Able to start working on short notice
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills
