Job Details:

Our client is looking to expand its development team with talented and motivated Web-Application Developers, possessed of initiative and enthusiasm. Reporting to the Senior Application Developer, key job duties would include requirements gathering, analysis, design and implementation as well as drawing up external and internal documentation.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Development will be undertaken as part of a team as well as individually, depending on the scope of the project. Projects include, but are not limited to, front-end GUI panels, customer portals, APIs or internal back-ends and support applications.
  • Authoring, to development, testing, delivery and documentation of Web-Applications thought the entire development life cycle.
  • Point of contact for the development team with product owners and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Working independently / part of a team and be able to put forward suggestions for improvements in existing software and ideas for new approaches, practices and technologies.
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for assigned development tasks
 Requirements
  • Degrees in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Web-Development, programming
  • Certification in PHP web development, graphics and software programming will be considered an asset.
  • 5 years of programming experience in PHP and/or other similar languages
  • Documentation experience and knowledge of documentation standards (UML, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) and fluency in English
  • Ability to keep deadlines with the possibility to put in extra work to keep said deadlines.
  • RDBMS and SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of Agile SD methodologies would be considered as an asset.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team  
  • Accurate, creative and innovative.
