QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER
MALTA
 
The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all various products have been tested and are efficiently launched to the highest standard, ensuring business continuity.
 
Responsibilities:
 
·         Assisting in the development of quality assurance procedures, standards and practices
·         Ensuring that the delivered product satisfies all customer requirements according to the product specifications
·         Working together with both the development and systems operations teams during all the stages of the SDLC; contributing and defining quality standards for a particular product during the design and implementation stages
·         Responsible for the entire testing process of the assigned system in order to ensure the highest standard of quality release iterations; including functional, non-functional, integration, load testing, etc.
·         Assisting in the development and testing of all the product’s required systems operations processes
·         Testing and verification of all processes in relation to the product
·         Compiling all testing related documents and reports
·         Determining all system / product related training needs
·         Acting as a catalyst for change which in turn will impact positively on performance and quality

Education & Qualification:
 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a software quality assurance environment
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Experience in the following would be considered an asset:
                -Software / Application Development or Engineering
                -Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
                -Databases and query optimisation
                -Working within the Telecom/Technology industry
