Research & Development Officer While assisting the Quality Control and Research and Development Manager, the selected candidate will be involved in the coordination of batch documentation and technical reviews. The selected person will be expected to: · Write manufacturing instructions, protocols, technical reports and other documents related to the position. · Participate in the manufacture, as well as performing and follow up physical tests necessary for the transfer and validation of new products. · Perform and keep records of all the sampling necessary during the transfer and validation of new products. · Monitor the packaging and preparation of samples and documents for stability studies for R&D products. · Assist in the management and update of R&D procedures, and other R&D activities as required. The ideal candidates should be: · In possession of a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related science subject. Candidates having the BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science will also be considered. · Although full training will be provided, the chosen candidates preferably must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment. · Have excellent organisation and communication skills · Be able to work on own initiative, as well in a team and under pressure to meet pre-set deadlines.
