SALES ENGINEER (Telecoms)
 
The person we are looking for will be a sales oriented qualified engineer with knowledge of the Telecom/IT sector of the local market.
Applicants should be in possession of an Electrical/ICT engineering Degree and preferably having a minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
This role is highly technical, customer oriented and includes a substantial ‘hands on’ element. The successful candidate will be required to build important customer relationships that will translate into long term success.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Build customer relations as well as manage and maintain them
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
  • Communicate new features and enhancements to customers
  • Manage projects
  • Meet sales targets
 
Requirements:
 
  • A responsible and organised attitude
  • An element of self-motivation and capability to work on his/her own initiative
  • An aptitude to sales and negotiating skills
  • An ability to work in a team and be flexible in approach
  • An innovative attitude, as well as the ability to keep abreast of emerging technologies
  • The capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
