SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE The position calls for a person holding a minimum of 2 years experience within a 4 or 5 star hotel environment or similar. A flair for sales and strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. Marketing is another important aspect of this role. Experience in Marketing is a must to fulfil this role. The ideal candidate will be a hands on person, able to work on own initiative and delve into alternative means of creating business. A substantial number of hours going around the hotel is expected in seeing to guests as well as doing sales calls. Responsibilities include: · Responsible for the B2B and B2C business, including contracting. · He/she will also be responsible for function orders as well as group movement orders, organizing and informing other departments. · This role requires creativity vis a vis organizing events and campaigns to promote the resort and the facilities it offers. · A good knowledge of languages is expected for the mentioned post, namely: Maltese, English, French, German and/or Italian.
