SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
 
Our client is a well-established firm of professional accountants and auditors with significant experience in multiple disciplines within the financial services industry. They offer personalized, swift, reliable and specialist advice and assistance in all stages within the development of a client’s business in Malta and internationally. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Accounts Executive. The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for general accounting functions such as analysis, process and review of financial information to compile monthly/quarterly management accounts.
 
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for a portfolio of clients
  • Handling day to day operational requirements and client requests
  • Processing of payments
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts for gaming clients
  • Preparation of LGA reports, and other financial reports
  • Preparation of monthly VAT notices and yearly VAT declarations, statutory accounts
  • Responsible of delegation of tasks to junior accountants and review of work accordingly
  • Dealing with matters relating to taxation, VAT and audit
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • 2-3 years` experience in the same field or a similar role
  • Able to work on his/her own initiative and in a team whilst also adhering to deadlines
  • Experience in a gaming company would be considered an asset
  • Ideally should be in his/her final stages of completing ACCA or a University graduate
  • Should have a good command of English
  • Should have experience in using MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Have the ability to work and perform under pressure
  • Have good communication and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organised person
