SENIOR CLIENT SERVICES OFFICER
 
Our client is an international insurance management company providing a full range of services on a global basis. They are currently undergoing a substantial growth and are seeking to recruit a Senior Client Service Officer for their client base.
 
Responsible for the day to day supervision of assigned work unit to ensure the operational activities of daily processing of application forms from various distributors / advisors is completed within the parameters of the specified SLA’s. Ensures compliance with applicable standards while providing high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plants and reward/recognition practices.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor the work flows in assigned unit in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with Advisors to follow-up on outstanding items and reconciliations, taking action to resolve problems as they arise.
  • Bring to the attention of management any item that cannot be resolved in the ordinary course of business. Primary goal being maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Retrieves information as requested by internal and external customers.
  • Verify that all received forms are in good order by Qc-ing data entered by advisor or client.
  • Maintain equipment, systems and general work environment in good condition. Ensure tear members comply with Company’s requirements with regards to use of said equipment.
  • Identify ways for improving service/adding value/ reducing costs.
  • Oversee the preparation of regular weekly, monthly and bi-monthly reports as required by management.
  • Ensure the effective flow of communication of information both upwards and downwards within work unit and ensure that expected levels of customer service are communicated and maintained.
 
Requirements:
  • Have expert knowledge in computer applications, risk management in the insurance environment and customer service skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in the relevant operations department, such as investments.
  • Ability to manage a team and communicate with all levels of personnel including co-workers.
  • Ability to analyse and prepare reports for management and or clients.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people
  • Have a tertiary level of education
  • Be willing to work on shift basis, from 8.00am to 00.00 including public holidays
  • Flexible in putting in extra time when volumes dictate
  • Be fluent in both English and Maltese languages
