The role:The individual selected for this dynamic and exciting position will form part of the IT team and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s core software applications with the aim of supporting and improving business efficiency and performance.Development Experience Required · Experience using FLEX or Java. · A degree BSc IT or any IT related degree · Experience using a 3 tier architecture. (SQL, Web Services, Interface) · 5 years programming experience. · Experience in general object oriented programming, .NET Framework, presentation layer and business logic. · Strong SQL Skills. Preferred Requirements: · Experience using JQuery will be considered an asset · Knowledge &/ or Experience in the Financial Services Sector. · Knowledge and use of the Structured and RAD methodologies.
