SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER The company is now looking to employ Senior Software Developer (based in Malta) to strengthen further its growing operations. Overview of the Role: The purpose of the Senior Software Developer role is to be part of a team that develops software and web based solutions, which are used both internally and externally as a core part of the services to our clients. Your main responsibility is to design, develop and test new software in a variety of product areas. As an expert will be mentoring/coaching and supporting other team members. It can both be systems to improve the services to our clients but also internal system to improve the daily operations. We work agile and use Scrum and test driven development to reach our goals but the most important factor is your engagement and your drive! You are a driven person that uses both your technical expertise and your strong engagement to start activities and reach your goals. You are also an appreciated team member and understand that shared expertise and knowledge is the key to good results. Problem solving is an important part of your work and you continuously keep yourself updated with new technology and innovative solutions. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise: · Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a software developer · Experience in developing large software development projects · Development experience using Javascript, PHP and/or Java. · Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban is desirable but not a must. · Database design experience with SQL or NoSQL databases. · Experience in technologies such as Node.js, Angular.js, MongoDB, RabbitMQ & Machine Learning is a plus but not a requirement. · Fluent in spoken and written English. · Creative and eager to learn new technologies. · Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
