SENIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICER
 
In this role, you will form part of the team responsible for the technology infrastructure of the Group.
 
Your duties will include:
·         Supporting the team in the delivery, administration, operations and troubleshooting of Group enterprise server infrastructure systems;
·         Providing a point of escalation for first line of support;
·         Developing and maintaining technical documentation;
·         Supporting the team in specific projects.
 
You should therefore have proven all-round technical skills in technology infrastructure with specialisations in a number of the following technologies:
·         Physical server infrastructure including server blades and enclosures;
·         Server, Desktop and Application Virtualization;
·         Microsoft Infrastructure Systems (AD, Windows, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync);
·         Data Centre facilities including racks, power distribution, protection and cooling;
·         Endpoint systems.
 
Furthermore, any complementary skills in Data Networking, Storage, IT security and Data Protection technologies would be desirable. This role calls for at least 5 years of prior experience working in demanding mission-critical IT environments. Whilst not essential, an engineering or IT-related degree together with relevant vendor certifications will be considered as assets. You must also be a good team player, show initiative and commitment together with a capacity for taking on responsibility and meeting tight deadlines.
