Job Details:
SENIOR UNDERWRITER
 
 
Main Tasks:
  • Delivery of a high quality service to all Commercial Teams
  • Technical analysis and underwriting of business proposals including preparation and issuing of quotations and involvement in facultative reinsurance
  • Drafting and issuing of policy documentation
  • Other duties as may be required
 
Education, qualification & certification:
  • Minimum of secondary level of education
  • Preference will be given to applicants with Dip CII/ACII/University degree or advanced progress towards achieving such qualifications
 
Technical knowledge & requirements:
  • Preferably knowledge of Operational System
  • Microsoft Office Tools/Applications
 
Previous professional experience:
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years working in an insurance technical environment.
