SUPERVISOR SYSTEMS In this role you will form part of the IT team and will be responsible for assisting in the management of a number of systems and related projects providing support to business users across the Group. You will work on a wide variety of challenging projects supporting core banking and financial systems. Core Duties and responsibilities include and not restricted to: · Define and document user requirements, define project scope and capture functional requirements · Recommend business processes to support business objectives · Define and perform functional system setup and setup documentation preparation · Develop test plans and perform functional testing · Issue resolution and escalation when required · Assist users with day-to-day issues · Liaise and work in close collaboration with users and application vendors · Participate in system deployment activities · Project management · Assist in preparation and delivery of user training · Adhere to project and change management standards You should be analytical and process oriented with the ability to assess and understand business processes and skilled in the areas of business and systems analysis, with knowledge of the full development/project lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing and user acceptance phases. Knowledge in financial accounting, banking and SQL would be desirable. This position does not involve any in house system development. 3 – 5 years prior experience in a similar role and work on projects relating to financial systems will be favourable. Whilst not essential, a degree in Business & Computing will be considered an asset. The role calls for an outstanding team player, who constantly thrives to show initiative and commitment together with a capacity for taking on responsibility and meeting tight deadlines. This role may entail flexible hours.
