SYSTEMS & FINANCIAL AUDITOR
 
Our client is a well-established firm of professional accountants and auditors with significant experience in multiple disciplines within the professional and commercial services sectors. They are currently seeking to recruit a ‘Systems and Financial Auditor’. The selected candidate will form part of their advisory and audit services team and be primarily responsible for the detailed examination of computerised systems which process client's data, underpin the generation of financial statements data and ensure compliance with international standards, legal and regulatory requirements.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Planning, execution and reporting on systems and financial audits
  • Review and assessment of computerized systems, business operations and processes based on international standards, best practice, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Build effective working relationships with clients and achieve client deadlines
 
Requirements:
 
  • Possess a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting or currently be pursuing an ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Possess or currently pursuing recognised certification to undertake IT audits (such as CISA (certified information systems auditor) or equivalent)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in systems and/or financial auditing
  • Be capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to identify and report on sensitive issues
  • Be smart, highly motivated, well presented and with good communication skills
  • Possess a working knowledge of IFRS, GAPSE and International Auditing Standards
 
The selected candidate will be offered an excellent remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications including travel allowance and health insurance.  Opportunities for international secondments to other offices internationally may also be made available.
