The role of Technical Lead is dedicated to providing the most senior level of technical expertise and to lead a team of talented technical experts focusing on Networking Solutions. The Technical Lead will be highly involved in pre-sales consultancy and in ensuring that the team has the right competencies, resiliency and productivity levels in order to provide optimum networking solutions to a variety of vertical industries both in Malta and overseas in the most efficient manner. The candidate profile: The ideal candidate should be a pro-active, focused and determined individual who has a proven ability to listen, diagnose and solve-problems/identify solutions efficiently. The ability to lead and motivate a team of technical experts is essential, whilst driving complex networking projects in line with defined project plans and timeframes. Requirements: · 5 years’ experience in a senior position within the networking area and preferably in possession of a Degree in Engineering or an IT-related field · An exceptional communication style, with astute diagnostic skills and ability to conduct client needs analysis. · Strong leadership and project management skills · Experience of scoping, defining and delivering technical solutions for medium to large scale projects · Hands-on technical in-depth knowledge and experience of core infrastructure management mainly on LAN, WAN & VLAN environments · Good knowledge of the Internet and IP and an understanding of SMTP, DNS, SNMP, DHCP and routing technologies.
