Our client is seeking to recruit a full-time clerical trainee officer to join our Trade Finance Department. Duties will include: · Handle the day to day keying in order to reflect the participations of the fund in the core system which include ; opening and closing of accounts / booking and liquidation of transactions / reconciliations · To report to the fund of any material effects which are of relevance to the participated transaction · When the need arises due to the diversity of the transactions and requirement for proper reporting, necessitates the requirement of testing on core System · Handling of Subsidiary and Joint Ventures accounts and any other clients within TF Operations portfolio availing from credit facilities, including liaising with other departments within the Bank for draw-downs, booking drawn-downs in the system, following repayments, handling customer queries and all necessary monitoring and follow-ups until repayment. · Handling secondary syndication deals, including vetting of documentation, passing of entries, assisting in authorising draw-downs and apply necessary follow-ups during the lifetime of the transaction. · Handling the back office for risk participations agreements including liaising with our counterparts and co-ordinating with other departments within the Bank as necessary. · Handle to day to day queries from internal and external customers. · Maintain a proper audit trail of all movements throughout the lifetime of the transactions. · Maintain appropriate filing & updating of diary notes.
